Students, please remember to write your full name clearly inside the front cover of each book. This helps us keep track of materials and ensures your books can be returned to you if misplaced.

Today is the first day of Lunch and Lyceum for the 25-26 school year. That means, all Titans, be thinking about where you are going to go at the bell after the Lunch period is over at either 11:45 for middle school or 12:45 for high school. You may not remain at your locker throughout Lyceum, so think ahead so you can get your belongings and go to a location. The choices for locations to spend Lyceum are as follows:

Cafeteria
Ramada
Field, only by exiting with the chaperones through the ramada gates and heading across the blacktop
Room 222 for middle school or 208 for high school for independent and quiet study
Teacher tutoring rooms if they are offering that. Please check the board in your classrooms to find out when your teachers will have tutoring.
Seniors may sit and work or talk in the senior room, just please clean any food or mess in there prior to 5^th period class

Plan ahead today so you know where you will go at Lyceum, since you must pick and then stick to your place the entire session!

CPA siblings of Archway students: you will meet Ms. Bahr outside of room 201 next to the pass through doors to Archway as soon as you can after 3:15. Please do not spend more than a couple of minutes at your lockers, since the wait can hold up the entire traffic line. Do not go through the Archway doors on your own. Come see the front desk if you have any questions!

Please look around and throw away ALL of your own trash when you finish eating lunch. Check your table, chair/bench, and floor. The lunch duty crew should not have to throw away anyone’s trash. Also, please push your chair in when you stand up to leave. Thank you!

If you forget an item such as your lunch and believe a parent has dropped it off, please check with the front desk during a passing period or lunch.

Attention all fall athletes; tryouts start soon! Please see the list below for start dates. You must have all your paperwork submitted online before tryouts. See the athletic office if you have any questions.

MS Fall:

8/11 Tackle Football tryouts

HS Fall:

7/28 Tackle Football tryouts

8/4 Cross Country tryouts

8/11 Swim and Volleyball tryouts

The Middle School Orchestra will begin rehearsals on Thursday, August 7^th at 7:15 am in Room 213.

The High School Orchestra will begin rehearsals on Friday, August 8^th at 7:15 am in Room 213.

The Titan Jazz Band will begin rehearsals on Friday, August 8^th after school from 3:30 – 4:30 in Room 213.

Attention CPA Singers! Women’s Choir will be held on Tuesday mornings and start this coming Tuesday the 5th. If you are interested, just show up at 7:15 in the Theatre. Men’s Choir will meet on a different day this year. We will meet on Monday mornings in the theatre and we will start August 11^th (a week from this Monday). These groups are open to EVERY grade and all abilities. Just show up for rehearsal with a pencil and some water. Dr. Carpenter will be conducting all of the choirs this year, so reach out to him with any questions.

Titan Awareness and Wellness Group meets Thursdays during Lyceum at the Counselor’s office. This quarter’s focus is Thriving at CPA. Come meet your school counselor next Thursday.
