Welcome to Chandler Preparatory Academy
Chandler Prep stands two miles north of the Price Road innovation corridor, where semiconductor engineers and software designers remind us daily that clear thinking and strong character never go out of style. We serve students in grades 6-12—middle school and high school—and guide them through a seven-year educational experience. Because Chandler Prep belongs to the Great Hearts network, every lesson grows from the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.

Academic life at Chandler Prep begins in wonder and matures into mastery.
Our middle school students experience a classical curriculum that integrates language, history, science, and the arts. They advance in mathematics, study Latin systematically, and explore life and physical sciences alongside American, ancient, and medieval history. Literature and composition refine their ability to read deeply and write with clarity, while music and studio art cultivate beauty and creativity. Together, these studies provide the grammar and logic that underpin all future learning.
By high school the curriculum widens into an honors sequence that rivals elite preparatory schools. Students spend two hours each day in Humane Letters, pairing primary-source history with authors from Dante to Dostoevsky; mathematics ascends through calculus or economics; laboratory sciences rely on original texts as often as modern manuals, so biology, chemistry, and physics remain tethered to the great chain of discovery. Our students experience a rich study of languages including Latin, Greek, Spanish, or French which culminates in the ability to read Virgil without translation or carry on a fluent discussion of Cervantes. Graduates routinely earn National Merit recognition, gold medals on the National Latin Exam, and scholarships to engineering, liberal-arts, and conservatory programs across the country.
Yet Chandler Prep refuses to measure success by transcripts alone.
The heart of the program is virtue education woven quietly into everything: the patience required to master a Euclidean proof, the courage to deliver an unflinching speech, the temperance that comes from balanced study and leisure, and the justice practiced when older students mentor sixth-graders through the Spartan House system.
